taxis in and out “waiting to take you away,” far and forgotten, the world once lied here to be lived upon, how hospitable. rather we’ve become zombies of the moon, running 9am to 9pm but numb beyond measure, falling loose inside the lost uncharted land of our minds, finding refuge in our heads and not our homes
making appearances only to misinterpret who we really are
using our black coats because no one will see the dirt it collects
